FAQs

**Handmade item disclaimer, applicable to ALL items**

  • Just to be extra clear, all items in this shop are 100% handmade by one individual from start to finish. I am not a huge manufacturing company. There WILL be slight variations, even across multiple items in the same listing! However, between the human touch, the variations that come with firing a kiln, and sourcing naturally occurring materials to create with, each piece will be completely unique! This is normal and expected, and truly ensures you are getting a one-of-a-kind handmade work of art. If you are looking to order two or more identical items, please shop with a larger manufacturer.

What's your return and/or exchange policy?

  • All purchases are final sale. There are no refunds or exchanges. If any items from your order are damaged from the shipping and handling process, please email photos of the damages to both the package and product immediately to christina@christinaelizabethphoto.com. You will be sent a replacement piece, or store credit. In rare cases, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.

Do you take wholesale orders?

  • Not at this time, but this is something we hope to offer in the future. Join our inner circle email list to stay in the loop!

Is all your work handmade?

  • Yes! We take pride in hand-making every single item, from start to finish. We outsource things such as our frames and certain preserved flowers. (And my we, I mean me - Christina - I'm a one-woman show, the artist and creative behind everything you'll find here.)

Are your ceramics food, dishwasher and microwave safe?

  • Assume 'yes' to all three unless the piece you are purchasing has a warning in the item description. We use food-safe glazes on all our pieces, and all pieces can be put in the dishwasher and microwave. However we strongly recommend handwashing your piece as often as possible, in order to preserve the longevity of your item.

How do I care for my dried flower frame?

  • These little wonders are fragile! We highly handling with care and keeping them out of direct sunlight. (Direct sunlight may cause condensation and/or age colors.) Shedding is normal and expected, especially after shipping. If you see small, dust-like bits in the bottom of your frame, simply open the frame, and remove them with gentle dusting.

How do I care for my Lake Michigan Stone frame?

  • Not much care is required for these pieces, however we do recommend keeping your piece out of direct sunlight.

How do I care for my handmade candle?

  • Trim or pinch off your wick before every burn, starting with the second burn to prevent ash and debris falling into your wax.
  • Always remove any dust/debris from the top of your candle prior to burning.
  • Burn candles on a flame resistant surface, and away from children, pets, and direct draft.

Do I need to burn my candle so the melt pool reaches the edge of the container every time?

  • No. Coconut Apricot wax is much softer than other waxes. You are encouraged to burn your candle for 2-3 hours at a time. But unlike soy candles, coconut apricot wax does not have a memory! Do not worry if your melt pool does not fully reach the edge of your container. It's normal if your candle has less than a quarter inch sized border of unmelted wax around the perimeter. As you continue to enjoy your candle and the container walls heat, the remaining wax will melt down.
